Blended with 23% Smillon, this is a textured and complex wine, hightoned in edgy acidity. The flavors combine effortlessly along a palate of cohesive grace and grip, tasting of grapefruit and pomelo.

Like the vineyards of Graves, the source of much-celebrated Bordeaux Blanc, and the model for this wine, the vines are planted in gravely soil along the bank of Dry Creek. The Alder Grove vineyard provides shaded habitat for spawning fish, and the trees roots nourish the soils in which the grapes for this wine are grown. The blend is 3/4 Sauvignon Blanc and 1/4 Semillon. Both small and large French oak barrel was used during the winemaking process, with the addition of barrels made from Acacia wood. Approximately 15% of cooperage is new. 80% barrel fermented and aged with 20% stainless fermented and aged.

Aromatically the wine is sweetly citrus-forward, with notes of orange marmalade, candied lemon zest, honey, and grapefruit. On the palate, the wine is beautifully crisp with a touch of honeyed texture for the usage of Semillon.
